Kitchen Tools Used:


  • A handful of ice
  • A generous handful of greens
    What I use: A pre-washed mix of kale, spinach, carrots and chard by Taylor Farms Organic
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 tablespoons of vanilla yogurt
    What I use: Siggi’s Icelandic-style yogurt
  • 5 - 6 fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup of frozen mixed berries
    What I use: A blend of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries by Simply Organic
  • 8  ounces of orange juice
    What I use: Simply Orange high pulp orange juice


Load up your blender in this order, blend until smooth, and enjoy! This recipe yields two 16-ounce smoothies, enough for two adults.

  1. Ice
  2. Spinach
  3. Frozen berries
  4. Strawberries
  5. Yogurt
  6. Banana
  7. Orange Juice

Tips and Tricks:

  • For a thicker smoothie or smoothie bowl, reduce the juice and increase the ice and/or frozen berries.
  • Need a bit more sweetness? Drizzle a little honey in toward the end of blending
